Bloomfield's Ceremony of Remembrance: 6 PM Tonight
Bloomfield's annual remembrance ceremony on the Town Green will be followed by a charity softball game to help victims of the 9/11 tragedy.
The Township of Bloomfield will be hosting a Remembrance Ceremony tonight, September 11, 2012 on the Town Green at 6pm. The event usually last approximately 20 - 30 minutes. (Please note that the Star Ledger incorrectly listed this event at another time and location.)
After the ceremony everyone is invited to Pulaski Park for a charity softball game between the Bloomfield Police Benevolent Association vs. the Puerto Rico Police Deptartment at 7pm. Proceeds from the event will be donated to Tuesday’s Children, a charitable organization that helps families of the victims of the 9/11 tragedy.
