Curbing Hunger Campaign Goes Online for Anniversary

Somerset County-based non-profit launches statewide initiative for summer donations.

A non-profit organization to help stop hunger in New Jersey has launched an online platform to mark its 20th Anniversary.

Curbing Hunger, based out of Somerset County, has launched a website to help bring in food donations to help during the summer season, historically known as lowest donation point throughout the year.

In the last 20 years, Curbing Hunger has raised more than 2 million pounds of food to help New Jersey residents. Its mission is to raise food to supply hunger organizations during times when donations are low.

The program has also expanded from Somerset County to becoming a statewide effort and has partnered with AmpYourGood.com. The initiative officially begins on June 1.
