Caroline Manzo and Jacqueline Laurita Wine Tasting

Caroline Manzo and Jacqueline Laurita, stars of Bravo-TV’s “The Real Housewives of New Jersey,” will lead a special Thanksgiving tasting of Levendi Wines at Stew Leonard’s Wines of Clifton on Friday, November 16 from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m.  
 
Each of the Levendi wines being tasted is the perfect complement to the various flavors of a traditional Thanksgiving meal.  Manzo and Laurita will also exclusively share with fans copies of their own beloved holiday recipes, both of which are favorites on their families’ Thanksgiving tables.  
 
The tasting is free to the public and bottles of each wine, ranging from $29.99 to $42.99, will be available for purchase.  Wines to be sampled include:
 

• Stagecoach Vineyard Syrah ($29.99): From the Stagecoach Vineyard high on the eastern volcanic ridge above Napa, comes this rich and decadent, limited production Syrah. The vivid red soils and rocky slopes come together to produce a wine with an aroma of sweet blackberry and mountain sage


• Symphonia Cabernet Sauvignon ($35.99): This limited production Levendi Cabernet Sauvignon entices with the sweet, toast nose reminiscent of cherry pie a la mode richly balanced with blueberry and vanilla flavors that crescendo in a nice finish.  900 cases produced.


• Red Hen Chardonnay ($36.99):  The Red Hen vineyard is located in the Oak Knoll District of Napa Valley, which consistently produces incredibly lush and concentrated Chardonnay grapes. The vineyard is planted on the Wente clone, which is well known producing for small berries, small clusters, and small yields, with a reputation for fruit forward focused wines of intensity and vigor.


• Sweetwater Ranch Cabernet Sauvignon ($42.99): The Sweetwater Ranch vineyard produces grapes with intense flavors and individuality that sets it apart from other Napa Cabernets.  These grapes possess intense flavors and overall balance, which makes Sweetwater Ranch a beautifully bold Cabernet Sauvignon.

 
Stew Leonard’s Wines is also collecting non-perishable goods to donate to the Community Food Bank of New Jersey as part of Hurricane Sandy Relief.  For every pound of food our customers donate, Stew Leonard’s Wines will match the contribution.
