Why Did The Wild Turkey Cross The (Bloomfield) Road?

Township residents send in their photos of wild turkeys around town.

It's still about three months until Thanksgiving, but it's never too early to get started scouting for your Thanksgiving bird.

Bloomfield resident Grover Furr saw wild turkeys this morning at the corner of Williamson Avenue and Hazelwood Road in the township.

This sighting comes after Nutley resident Shannon Harrington spotted another wild turkey on Aug. 18 at the corner of Bloomfield and West Passaic Avenues.
