District Eyes New Investments in School Safety

Bloomfield schools have many safety measures already in place, but Superintendent Jason Bing said he wants to improve them and bring the district into the 21st century.

Third River Gets a Cleanup

The Third River will flow a little easier through Bloomfield this week. 

Passaic Valley Sewerage Commission maintenance crews weathered snow on Monday as they cleared large tree branches and debris blocking the flow of Third River under an access bridge leading to 225 Belleville Ave. 

The Bloomfield Police reported the following burglaries to vehicles and homes, and stolen automobiles during the past week in the township. 

A Bloomfield High grad committed suicide and his wife was murdered inside their Parsippany home, the Morris County Prosecutor's Office said.

Students Find Healthy Food Choices at School

Middle school students are learning about healthy eating – one bite at a time. 

This week, students at Bloomfield Middle School learned how they can incorporate healthier eating habits into their lives.

Dates for Early Kindergarten Registration Released

PATH Service Between WTC and Hoboken to Resumes
