Warm Weather, Cabaret and Swing Dancing Today

1. Spring is coming - and today is a sure indication of that, with temperatures in the  near 60s. Kick the winter blues by taking a stroll through this afternoon, or stop by for an ice-cream cone. Why not?

2. Continue the celebration of Black History Month tonight at 8 p.m. at . Westminster Arts Center will host a music exhibition featuring singers performing an array of music. Tickets are $20 for general admission, $15 for students with ID and seniors.

3. It's Friday night - what better way to spend it than in town with a little cabaret? Pianos Bar & Grill will host its cabaret show series beginning at 7:30 p.m. There is a $15 food/drink minimum. Call 973-743-7209 for reservations.

4. Or work up a sweat yourself in Montclair with swing dance lessons, hosted by the Montclair Women's Club (at 82 Union St., Montclair). Dance partners are not required, and the event will be capped off with open dancing to music by Swingadelic. Lesson begins at 8 p.m. Cost is $10-$20.
