The Week Ahead: School Board Budget and Council Meetings

Monday

Bloomfield's Township Council holds a conference meeting at 7 p.m. at room 205 of the Law Enforcement Building. The Council will discuss parking ordinances and public safety grants. The full agenda for the meeting is online here. 

Tuesday

Judging from the comments on this story about the Bloomfield schools budget, parents are planning to attend tonight's Board of Education meeting to voice their concerns. The meeting takes place at the school administration building at Bloomfield High School.*

The Bloomfield Cultural Commission meets tonight at 7 p.m. at the Oakeside Mansion.

Wednesday

Essex County and the North Jersey Transportation Planning Authority (NJTPA) will host a pair of workshops on Wednesday, March 13 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. and 4 to 7 p.m. to discuss countywide transportation issues at the Essex County Richard J. Codey Arena at South Mountain Conference Room in West Orange.

Thursday

Carteret elementary school puts on its third Annual Production of Peter Pan  at 7 p.m. 36 students in grades 3-6 are bring the classic tale to life.
