The Week Ahead: MLK Jr. Day, BOE Meeting and More

Monday

• Today is Martin Luther King Jr. Day. 

Bloomfield Township offices and district schools will be closed in observance of the holiday.

There will be no refuse or recycling collection. Regular office hours for the township will resume on Tuesday.

Tuesday

• The Bloomfield Board of Education will meet at 6:30 p.m. in the district administration building, at 155 Broad St. The upcoming agenda can be found by clicking here. 

• An informational forum for parents about early childhood literacy will be held at at 7 p.m. in the Bloomfield High School media center, at 160 Broad St. The forum is geared toward parents with children in pre-K and kindergarten. 

Thursday

• The Bloomfield Human Rights Commission will meet at 7 p.m. in the second floor conference room of the police law enforcement building, at 1 Municipal Plaza.
