Flu Shots Available

Flu Shots are available Monday through Friday for residents of Bloomfield/Caldwell/Glen Ridge at the Health Department. They are free for those residents that have traditional Medicare and $20 without Medicare. A receipt will be given for insurance reimbursement.

Mental Health Assoc of Essex County at Bloomfield Library
Tuesday, 12:15 p.m.

Mental Health Association of Essex County will be available with information on depression and other post-hurricane Sandy issues from 12:15 to 2:15 p.m. Information will also be available on holidays stress and how to manage it. 

Walk Brookdale Park – Greyhound Friends of NJ
Wednesday, 7 p.m.
Watchung Avenue Entrance of Brookdale Park
Weather permitting, take a walk around Brookdale Park. The group gathers in the lower parking lot next to the playing field. This lot is only accessible from the Watchung Avenue entrance. 

Chess Club at Bloomfield Public Library
Saturday, 2 p.m.
90 Broad St.
Challenge your friends to game of chess. All are welcome from novice to experts.

Writing Workshops at Bloomfield Library
Saturday, 2 p.m. 
There will be a writing workshop from 2 to 3 p.m. and every 2nd and 4th Saturday of the month. This workshop will be held in the conference room and all are welcome.
