The Week Ahead: BOE Meetings, Basketball and More

Monday

Bloomfield's Township Council holds a conference meeting at 7 p.m. at the Law Enforcement Building. The agenda includes a discussion on shared services with the school board and contract renewal with the township's Information Technology services. The complete agenda is online here.

The Bloomfield High School girls varsity Basketball takes on Livingston High School at a 5 p.m. home game. The boys varsity squad faces West Orange at 7 p.m., also at home.

Tuesday

Bloomfield's Board of Education meets at 6:30 p.m. at the Board's Conference Room School on the second floor of the Administration Building. The Board will hear the New Jersey School Board Association's Evaluation Presentation and take other action. The full agenda is online here. 

Wednesday

The volunteer job seeking support group Neighbors-helping-Neighbors meets at 6:30 p.m. at the Bloomfield Library. 

Thursday

At noon, County Executive Joseph DiVincenzo joins the Essex County Division of Senior Services and the Essex County Department of Parks, Recreation and Cultural Affairs to open “Café in Essex County Watsessing Park,” a new senior citizen center in the Senior Building in Essex County Independence Park.
