Update: Severe Thunderstorm Watch Cancelled
Stormy weather swept through the area this evening to help break the recent heat wave in our area.
The National Weather Service has issued a Severe Thunderstorm Watch effective until 10 p.m. for Essex, Bergen, Hudson, Passaic and Union counties.
As of 8:25 p.m. there are no power outages reported within the township.
