Dog Training and Safety Workshop Saturday

Specialist in dog bite prevention education will host a training seminar at the Bloomfield Civic Center April 27 and 28.

 

May is National Dog Training and Safety Month. Be prepared for it!

On Friday and Saturday, April 27th & 28th, come meet and work with Teresa Lewin, specialist in dog bite prevention education and co-founder of the dog bite prevention organization, Doggone Safe.

Learn why dogs bite, how to interpret dog body language, bite risk assessment, course of action, and the role of fear.

The workshop will be held at the Bloomfield Civic Center’s Basement Room 84 Broad Street 9:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m.  Hosted by The Bloomfield Township Board of Health Neighbor to Neighbor Network and The Bloomfield Animal Shelter.

Coffee, tea, and bagels will be served. Admission price $25. Checks should be made payable to “NTNN Animal Support Fund.”
