Bloomfield Charity Gala Raises More Money than Year Before

Donations are still trickling in, but the second annual Bloomfield Charity Gala netted as much as $30,000 in donations Wednesday night.

Oakes Development Project Gets Green Light

'Week of Respect' at Bloomfield High School

This past week, Bloomfield High School took part in the “Week of Respect” to raise awareness of the potential dangers of bullying. The New Jersey Harassment, Intimidation and Bullying Law designates the week beginning the first Monday in October of each year as a “Week of Respect” in New Jersey.

Bloomfield Mail May Be Lost in Truck Fire

The state Department of Treasury is working to assist residents in many Essex County towns whose mail, sent to government offices between Sept. 7 and Sept. 10, burned in a truck fire last month. Affected zip codes begin with 070 to 076, 078, 079, 088 and 089.
