Tony's Hot Dogs Closes

The Broad street hot dog shop is shuttered, leaving behind a lonely dalmatian statue.

While hot dogs are a quintessential summer food, Bloomfield residents have had to go without one longtime option for dogs in recent months.

Tony's Hot Dogs, on the intersection of Broad St and Watchung Ave., closed. The inside of the small eatery was filled with construction materials and a rusting dalmatian statue was left in the parking lot.

Nearby merchants that spoke with Patch weren't certain why the hot dog shop closed down. Do you have any insight? Tell us in the comments below.
