Bloomfield Restaurant Week, March 4 to 10

A gourmet spotlight will shine on the Township’s popular dining destinations during the first annual Bloomfield Restaurant Week, March 4 to 10.

As many as 30 downtown restaurants, with cuisines from every corner of the world, could participate by offering fixed price menus of $30 or less, not including drinks, taxes or tips.

Restaurant Week organizers said winter is optimal since it’s a slow time in many restaurants. Coordinators will market the event throughout Essex County and beyond as a way to draw interest to Bloomfield’s fine dining options.

As restaurants sign on to participate, their names, locations, hours, types of cuisine, and their particular Restaurant Week offer (lunch, dinner or both) will be posted on the event website www.bloomfieldrestaurantweek.com

Diners not interested in fixed price menus can order from regular menus at normal prices.

During the week, each participating restaurant will identify itself by hanging a Restaurant Week poster in the window. Posters and other signage around town will list all participating restaurants.

As March approaches, residents can check www.bloomfieldreestaurantweek.com to find out which restaurants are participating.
