Planetarium at Newark Museum, 49 Washington St., Newark
WHEN:     Friday, Saturday, Sunday    noon – 5pm 
WHY GO:   Seven Wonders : Fridays, 2 pm; Saturdays & Sundays, 2 & 4 pm.   Recommended for adults and children ages 9 and up. Turn back the pages of time and witness the Seven Wonders of the ancient world.
The Little Star that Could:    Saturdays & Sundays, 1 & 3 pm - Recommended for adults and children ages 5 to 8  
A little star is born all by himself.  Lonely for some friends, he embarks on a journey through the galaxy.  Along the way he meets different stars, learns about their lives, colors and temperatures.  At the end of his voyage he is introduced to a star cluster, the Milky Way and the planets of the Solar System.
COST:     Adults $15; children under 12, seniors, and college students $9.  Members: Adults $3, children & seniors $2.  (Includes museum admission)

WHY GO:  You are invited to join the Italian American ONE VOICE Coalition at a special breakfast for new members. ONE VOICE President Andre DiMino will present an overview of ONE VOICE's triumphs over bias and its never-ending challenges. Other speakers will include Italian-American author, TV and radio newsman Frank Cipolla and other guests.

WHY GO:  Love Vacation Bible School?  The Kids Club is a little bit of Vacation Bible School each week.  Meeting on Saturday afternoons from 3-4:30, kids play games, do crafts, learn about the Bible, and get the chance to serve at nursing homes and for community meals.   All elementary school-aged kids are invited.

WHY GO:  There’s never been a better time to go green than with this 50th anniversary tour of the Grammy-winning Chieftains, Ireland’s premier musical ambassadors, who arrive with a variety of guest musicians, vocalists, and traditional Irish step dancers. Founded in 1962, The Chieftains have earned six  Grammy Awards and an Academy Award, and have been credited with popularizing traditional Irish music throughout the world. The group includes founder and leader Paddy Moloney (Uilleann pipes, tin whistle), Matt Molloy (flute), Seán Keane (fiddle), and Kevin Conneff (bodhrán, vocals).
