Local Stars Shine in "Bloomfield's Most Talented" Show

Eigth grader Sajeda Cupido took home the top prize at the "Bloomfield's Most Talented" show on Saturday.

Cupido won the competition with her rendition of Beyonce’s "If I Were A Boy.” 

Members of the Bloomfield Cultural Commission praised Cupido for her powerful singing voice and said she easily won the praise of Judges Chelsea Wright, Marva Hanks and Mark Sceurman.

Dancer Anthony Anderson took second place and singer Arcadia Kantrow took third. MC Mayor McCarthy hosted as 16 performers vied for the trophy and the judges said choosing between talented competitors was difficult. 

Sponsors included Angelo's Pizzeria, Town Pub and Anthony's Cheesecake. Sponsors JAG Salon were on site to do hair and makeup.

BCC members said WBMA-TV 35 will broadcast footage taken at the show this week.
