Final Concert of the Season for Bloomfield Symphony Orchestra
The June concert will be featuring works by Beethoven and Tchaikovsky.
The Bloomfield Symphony Orchestra will be closing their 79th season with a June 5 concert featuring works by Beethoven and Tchaikovsky, according to orchestra officials. Israel G. Herman will be conducting.
The concert, which falls on a Sunday, starts at 3 p.m. and will be held at the Bloomfield Middle School, 60 Huck Road. Tickets are $15 or $10 with a coupon from Bloomfield Federation of Music.
The concert, titled "Two on First," features two first symphonies by Beethoven and Tchaikovsky.

The symphonies are Tchaikovsky’s Symphony No. 1 in G Minor, Op. 13 (Winter Dreams) and Beethoven’s Symphony No. 1 in C Major, Op. 21.
