A lawyer (Gary Merrill) on a plane trip meets three other travelers (Shelley Winters, Michael Rennie, & Keenan Wynn) and becomes involved in their lives. When tragedy strikes, he learns that nothing is quite as it seems. Bette Davis costars in this entertaining film that was honored at the Venice Film Festival.
