Thursday Afternoon at the Movies "THE DESCENDANTS"

Matt King (George Clooney) is the sole trustee of his family’s land trust in Hawaii.  His life is shattered when a boating accident leaves his wife in a coma.  Suddenly, he must take charge of his rebellious daughters (Shailene Woodley and Amara Miller), deal with the sale of the land, and handle the shocking truth of his wife’s infidelity. 

This moving and beautiful film was nominated for 5 Oscars and won the Golden Globe for Best Motion Picture (Drama) – 2011 – Color – 116 minutes – R.
