An Irish-American mob boss (Jack Nicholson) plants an informant (Matt Damon) inside the Boston Police Department. At the same time, the police plant an undercover cop (Leonardo DiCaprio) inside the mob. When both sides realize they have an informer, the two men must learn each other’s identities before their covers are blown.
