The Life of General Joseph
March 23 at Bloomfield College will be a lively performance of the life of General Joseph Bloomfield, namesake of our town. The event will feature historical slide montages, period music and costumed Village officials playing historic roles. Also on tap will be a ceremonial (partial) reading of the original town charter and a preview of bicentennial events slated for the remainder of the year. Depending on the anticipated crowd, the venue could change from Bloomfield College to Bloomfield High School.
