WHY GO: Belleville Seniors meet every Friday, with coffee, buns and
bingo following. The Club offers trips top Atlantic City, parties and more. New members are always welcome.

WHY GO: Our Kids Club is a little bit of Vacation Bible School each week. We play games, do crafts, learn about the Bible, and give kids the chance to serve at nursing homes and community meals. All elementary-aged kids are invited to join.

WHY GO: Through live dramas, beautiful music, an inspiring message, and high-quality videos,you will experience the power of Jesus’ life, the pain of his crucifixion, and the triumph of his resurrection.

 

NEWARK

WHERE:    Branch Brook Park, Cherry Blossom Visitor Center
WHEN:  Saturday    First Race Starts at 7am
WHY GO:  Race through Branch Brook Park in the Cherry Blossom Challenge, a competitive New Jersey tradition, or cheer on the cyclists while enjoying a day in the fresh, spring air. The race is an official NJBA event and a 2012 Garden State Cup event. Various races occur throughout the morning.
COST:  $30 - $35, varies by race category (free to come to park & watch)

WHEN:  Friday  7:30pm – 10:30pm
WHY GO:  Come skate with the Easter Bunny & enjoy interactive games
COST:   $3 kids, $4 adults; $3.50 skate rental

WHERE: Newark Museum, 49 Washington St., Newark
WHEN: Heart of the Sun:  Wednesdays, Thursdays & Fridays, 2 pm, Saturdays & Sundays, 2 & 4 pm  -  Recommended for adults and children ages 10 and up     This full-dome planetarium program shows us the Sun as it has never been seen before.  This program delivers new breathtaking, high-resolution images never before seen and for the first time take us right inside a living star.    

Zula Patrol 2: Down to Earth:  Saturdays & Sundays, 1 & 3 pm  -  Recommended for children ages 5 to 9     In their latest adventure, a routine fossil-hunting mission launches The Zula Patrol on a rollicking ride into Earth’s past!
COST: Planetarium admission: Adults $5; children under 12, seniors, and college students $3, in addition to the Museum Admission.
