Summer Happenings At The Library

Library to host free Chess and Recipe Swap clubs this summer.

Looking to escape the heat this summer? Look no further then the Bloomfield Public Library. Get out of the house and take part in the new Chess and Recipe Swap Clubs to go along with the always popular Book and Poetry Clubs.

The children's Chess Club will meet Mondays at 2 p.m. this summer. The Library will have a similar club for adults, as well.  This will most likely meet on Monday, Tuesday or Wednesday evening during the summer and continue if the program is popular. Don’t play chess?  A community Game Night will also be held as well.

The Recipe Swap club will meet on a weekday afternoon and give local cooks the opportunity to share ideas and recipes with other who share the interest. Not a great cook?  Come and pick up some tips from local residents.
