Meet Fitty and Romeo

Bloomfield Animal Shelter hopes to find a home for these animals

Meet Fitty and Romeo. Seen here wearin' o' the green, they are only two of the homeless pets at the John A. Bukowski Shelter for Animals waiting for some luck to finally come their way.

Fitty is a silver tiger - a handsome and charming lad if ever there was one! His three wishes are pretty simple: belly rubs, belly rubs and more belly rubs. In exchange, he will grant you a lifetime of companionship, loyalty and all the kisses you can handle.

Romeo is a young Terrier mix with a brindle coat that shimmers in the sun like a pot of gold! Strong and affectionate with smiling eyes, he was found roaming the streets with what appeared to be his lady friend, a Shepherd/Rottweiler mix. How magical would it be for the two of them to be adopted together?

Fitty and Romeo don't need to find a four leaf clover. They know that only a forever home will bring them the happiness and riches they desire. Can you be the life-changing discovery at the end of their rainbow?

Are you interested in adopting these animals? Call the shelter (61 Bukowski Pl., Bloomfield) at 973-748-0194 or drop by any day between 1 and 4 p.m. to arrange a meeting.
