WHAT:  2011 New Jersey T20 Cricket Tournament
WHERE:   Watsessing Park, Bloomfield
WHEN:  Sept 3-5
WHY GO:   Cricket Council USA, a sports and entertainment management organization has joined forces with CricketHappening.Com to sponsor the 2011 New Jersey T20 Cricket Tournament.  The tournament will be held during the Labor Day weekend at the Watsessing Park, Bloomfield, NJ from September 3 – 5, 2011.  6 power-packed teams will compete for the Championship Trophy and $5,000.00 in cash prizes. Tickets are only $19 for adults and $17 for kids and seniors, and are available by calling the NWS box office at (732) 888-1704.

WHY GO:  Skies Alive focuses on New Jersey's role in bird migration.  The interactive exhibit illustrates the uniqueness of the state's diverse environments and the importance of preserving its natural resources to ensure the survival of these transient birds.

WHEN: Sunday  9am to 1pm
WHY GO: Fresh Produce, Cheese, Artisan Breads, Organic Coffee, Pickles and more. Yum!

WHAT: Belleville High School Crafts, Flea Market and Collectibles Show
WHERE: Belleville Township High School 
WHEN: September 4th  -  9am to 5pm.
WHY GO: There will be 75 plus exhibitors displaying quality merchandise such as crafts, sports collectibles, clothing, jewelry, handbags, gift items, antiques and collectibles, garage/tag sale items and more. Stop to see all the bargains!   Come hungry to sample the delicious food including hot dogs, pulled pork sandwiches, coffee, bagels, breads, salads, zeppoles, hamburgers and more!

WHAT:  Labor Day Paddle at Essex County Environmental Center
WHERE:   621a Eagle Rock Ave, Roseland, NJ

WHY GO:   "Labor Day Paddle" is for adults and children ages 10 and older. Take a leisurely journey on the Passaic River and enjoy scenery and peacefulness as you paddle up the river and float down stream.
