Bloomfield Man Hits it Big with Scratch Off Lotto Ticket

Bloomfield resident purchased winning $500 a week lotto ticket at Broad Street Quick Chek.

A Bloomfield man turned to lottery tickets after quitting smoking not only made a healthy choice for his body but for his bank account as well. 

Daniel Shelton, 31, this week won the "$500 for week" scratch-off lottery ticket, the Star-Ledger reports. 

Shelton reportedly started playing the lottery after quitting smoking cigarettes. He purchased the winning ticket on Monday, Jan. 6.
