Bloomfield Recreation Department released the following information moments ago: "Please be advised that the Spring Spectacular scheduled for Saturday, March 31st, has been cancelled due to wet field conditions and pending inclement weather for the remainder of the day.  Making a decision like this is always difficult but it is always the right one when you put safety first."

Recreation Supervisor Megan Schaffer said that, because Easter is next weekend, the department would not be able to run the event during the weekend.  She said the department would pursue the possibilty of a modified program sometime during the week.
