'The Assault on Public Education' to be Presented Thursday Night

On Thursday at 7:30 p.m. at Bloomfield Middle School on 60 Huck Road, the Bloomfield's School Board and the Bloomfield Education Association host University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill Professor Walter C. Farrell in a presentation called “The Assault on Public Education and Public Services: A New Jersey Case Study.”

On Mondays, Thursdays and Sundays, the Library offers Health Care Enrollment assistance starting at 10:30 a.m.

The monthly cabaret performance spotlight Music at the Mansion returns to the Oakeside Cultural Center on Sunday afternoon at 3.  Performers include Janice Hall, Sean Harkness and Stearns Matthews.  The featured performer in the "Young Musician Moment" will be Mollyjane Boyle. Tickets are $10.

The Bloomfield Recreation Department is offering a trip to the NJ Devils vs. Edmonton Oilers game at the Prudential Center on Friday, Feb. 7.
