two kingdoms become entangled in a web of paranoia\, insinuation\, and m

Sicilia\, to the raucous and jovial Bohemian sheep-sheering festival\, t
 o the revelatory final scene\,&nbsp\;The Winter's Tale&nbsp\;celebrates
the triumph of love\, nobility\, and all things good\, and ends with a p
romise of rejuvenation\, redemption and hope.&nbsp\;\nOne of several out

out the Next Stage Ensemble\nThe Next Stage Ensemble\, now in its 20th y
ear\, was created in 1992 as part of The Shakespeare Theatre of New Jers
ey's Summer Professional Training Program\, to foster the work of early-
career actors and directors. One of several exciting outreach programs o
ffered by the Theatre\, each summer the Next Stage Ensemble brings the t
hrill of live performance to audiences throughout New Jersey\, while ena
bling young performers to gain valuable experience in classical theatre
and ensemble work.\nMuch as an Elizabethan traveling company would have
done\, the troupe tours with only minimal sets and without lighting equi
pment. In traditional fashion\, actors typically perform in multiple rol
es. The performers rely upon the text and their craft\, rather than on e
laborate sets\, costumes and special effects\, to create theatrical "mag
ic."\nPhoto of the 2011 performance\, courtesy of Stan Freeny.\nFor addi
