At the Bloomfield Animal Shelter, we have plenty of cats and dogs for adoption--and we are sure to have one that suits you perfectly. Here are just a few of the cats who are looking for forever homes:
Erika, a beautiful long-haired female. Erika is about a year old, and is very playful and active. She does have a rascally side to her, and tries to entice other cats to play with her, whether they want to or not. Her gorgeous coat will need regular grooming as it does tend to get matted at times.
Demi is a pleasingly plump, sweet female tabby, who just loves attention and affection. As soon as staff comes into the cat room, she will cozy right up to them for petting. She is fine with the other cats in the shelter, so she would adjust to other cats in a household. She is about a year and a half old.
Hopi is a beautiful long-haired tuxedo female who would probably do best in a home without other animals, or in a home where she could feel safe and have her own space. She is about a year and a half old. She will take time to warm up, but once she gets to trust you, you will have a friend for life!
Liam is a lanky, large male tabby whose brothers and sisters have all been adopted. Liam is about a year old and is an active, curious guy. He loves to play with water dripping from the faucet and doesn't seem to be fazed by any other cats.
Bootsie is a loveable grey cat who is a favorite among some of the other cats. He is calm and laid-back, and loves belly rubs and affection. He was from the TNR Program, but was too tame to go back out to a colony, so he has been in the shelter since then. He is a little over a year old.
Lily is a tortishell female who has been with us for over a year, after her previous owner had to move out of the country. She is a lovely and affectionate girl around people, but isn't overly fond of other cats. She is about 8 years old, so would actually be FREE during our special promotion (until July 29). We would love to see this girl finally get the forever home she deserves!
