WATCH VIDEO: Demolition of Foley Field Stadium Begins
Two excavators crushed through concrete and steel Thursday morning.
Demolition of Foley Field's concrete bleachers began early Thursday morning, with crews from Grinnell Recycling crushing the north side of the concrete stadium.
Two excavators chomped through tons of concrete and steel beginning around 10 a.m. and will be working Monday through Friday to complete the project. A third excavator was due to arrive Thursday to help expedite the demolition.
The process, which involves knocking down the stadium then moving the materials off-site for recycling, will take about three to four weeks, according to Grinnel General Manager Bob Lombardo. He estimated it will take between 100 to 150 truck loads to remove the materials, which will likely be recycled by Grinnell.

Got over $600.oo property tax raise by thieves for that racket. This fee does not show up on property tax assessment.
This means - don't buy a house in NJ until you know the actual tax bill. Not the property assessment. Realtors, tax records lie.
This is how Big Gov. will hide and seek what you actually pay in property taxes. My property tax bill compared by size is about twice the Christie tax bill in Bernardsville. Nice Bloomfield.
By the way, costs of rebuilding will probably end up being twice what we were told because field was found contaminated the day after the vote.

I have wonderful memories of Foley Field, from H.S. graduation to watching fireworks. I'm sad to see it is being demolished.
