Trader Joe's Coming to Clifton
Clifton store coming in November, will be open seven days a week
Bloomfield residents that are fans of Trader Joe's can rejoice: The beloved grocery store is opening one town over in Clifton.
According to its website, Trader Joe's will unveil a new location at 259 Allwood Rd. in Clifton Friday, Nov. 16. The store will be open from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. seven days a week and will not sell alcohol. (So much for two-buck chuck!)
Just a little more than three miles away from Bloomfield, the new Clifton location is far more convenient than other locations in Millburn (10.5 miles away), Wayne (13.7 miles) and Florham Park (a whopping 22.5 miles).
Our neighbors in West Essex have been rooting for a Trader Joe's to open up in this neck of the woods for some time, even creating a Facebook page, We Want-Need a Trader Joe's in the Fairfield/Caldwells Area, with more than 100 followers.
The first Trader Joe's opened in Pasadena, Calif. in 1967.

YEAH! Another business to patronize OUTSIDE OF BLFD due to the greed and mismanagement of the mayor and council. A never ending nightmare for the taxpayers of the town....Welcome to Pottersville
