1. A special Board of Education meeting will be held tonight at 7 p.m. at the administration building (155 Broad St.). Tentative budget plans will be discussed.

2. It's National Pancake Day! Head over to IHOP between 7 a.m. and 10 p.m. today for a free short stack. The restaurant asks patrons to consider leaving a donation to the Children's Miracle Network Hospitals and other local charities.

3. Friendly's Ice Cream Shop is hosting family fun night tonight from 5 to 8 p.m. to help support the FernDog Rescue Foundation. Friendly's will donate a percentage of your total check to the organization. Click here to read more about FernDog.

4. Playoffs are here: Bloomfield College's men's basketball team hosts Felician College tonight at 7 p.m.  in CACC quarterfinals. The squad finished a stunning 18-8 overall, 15-3 CACC.
