UPDATE: Small White Dog "JoJo" Reunited with Owner!

Happy ending: The owner of the lost dog has been located.

The owner of the small West Highland White terrier has been located!  The dog, who was found wandering on Elm Street last night by a Bloomfield resident, has been reunited with his owner.  His name is Jojo.

A note sent to Patch on Monday evening said, LINDA....DOG'S OWNER FOUND...THE DOG IS NAMED JOJO!!~~
THANKS SO MUCH!

The original note to Patch read:

We found this dog last night.
He is doing very well....someone lost a very sweet dog.
Please help us find the owner.

He was picked up on Elm Street in Bloomfield, heading toward Beach.
We have posted signs in that area, but who knows where he is from?

If this is your dog or if you have any information, call 973-820-6797.  This is the phone number of the person who is taking care of the dog.  Her name is Olivia.  She is with the dog and he is safe in her home.

A few years ago, we found a very similar looking dog on Watchung Ave.; dog answered to the name of "Peanuts" and escaped from its yard on the corner of Huck Rd. and the last street before BMS.

Did you try taking the dog to the animal shelter or a vet to get scanned for a microchip? Hopefully he is chipped.

JOJO's owner has been found!

Thank goodness that JoJo’s owner has been found and that he wasn’t surrendered to the animal shelter.

A shout out to the caring person who found him, contacted both Baristanet and Bloomfield Patch, and kept him in their home!

I had found a small pup running down the street in clifton about a year ago, a sweet maltese, took him to the vet and they scanned her for chip but did not find one. i finally just by chance saw a missing dog poster and returned him. the owner said he did have a chip, so i dont know if the owner fibbed or the chips not that reliable, so glad jojo home, now lets help Memphis!
