A Myriad of High School Sports to Watch Tonight

First Baptist Church hosts a senior citizen luncheon at noon today.

 

1. Lots of sports happening tonight. Bloomfield High School's bowling team squares off against Montclair High School at 3:45 p.m. at Brunswick Zone in Belleville; boys varsity basketball team heads to Orange High School at 5:30 p.m., while the girls squad hosts Irvington High School at the same time; and rounding out the night is the boys varsity wrestling team, who hosts Union City High School at 7 p.m. Phew.

2. First Baptist Church will host J.O.Y. Club for senior citizens from noon to 2 p.m. Bring a bagged lunch - the church will provide a drink and dessert.

3. Planning board meets tonight at 7:30 p.m. at town hall.

4. Bloomfield College health services is sponsoring a bone marrow registry drive, as part of Black History Month. Sign up is from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., in room 4 on the second floor of the student center. Click here to read more.

5. Meet E. Savoy, author of "Defying the Odds," tonight at the library. Event begins at 7 p.m.
